Seven injured in collision on N11 outside Waterside Wimpy

Seven people were injured in a collision on the N11 outside Waterside Wimpy on Wednesday morning, 17 April 2024.

The incident took place just before 7 am, involving an automobile and a truck carrying vehicles to a car dealership.

Ongoing inquiries into the specific details are underway, but an official source present at the scene noted that the driver of the passenger vehicle reported being distracted at the moment of the event. As a result, the vehicle struck the back of the truck and then crashed into a roadside barrier post.
Paramedics arrived to aid the injured of which there were a total of seven people, including five children. “Their injuries ranged from moderate to minor,” stated the official source at the scene.
Motorists are urged to drive carefully and to concentrate on the road.
