Ladysmith: A humid day has been forecast, with AccuWeather predicting temperatures will peak at 33°. Evening temperatures are expected to drop to 19°.
Like Newcastle, SAWS has issued a Level 2 Warning for Severe Thunderstorms for Ladysmith. .
Vryheid: A hot and muggy day is forecast with broken cloud coverage and sunny spells. Temperatures are forecast to peak at 31°. Evening temperatures are set to drop to 18°.
As with Newcastle and Ladysmith, SAWS has issued a Level 2 Warning for Severe Thunderstorms for Vryheid.

Newcastle: A hot and humid day is forecast, with temperatures predicted to peak at 31°. Thunderstorms are also expected throughout the day. Nighttime temperatures are anticipated to drop to 18°, with evening spells of rain forecast.
Ladysmith: A humid day is forecast, with temperatures predicted to peak at 31°. Thunderstorms can be expected throughout the day. Evening temperatures are forecast to drop to 19°, accompanied by spells of rain.
Vryheid: An overcast and humid day is on the cards, with temperatures forecast to reach a high of 31°. Thunderstorms are also predicted for the day. Evening temperatures are expected to drop to a humid 18°, with periods of rain.
Sunday, 12 January 2025:
Newcastle: A cloudy and humid day can be expected, with temperatures set to peak at 24°. A heavy thunderstorm is forecast for the day. Nighttime temperatures are predicted to drop to 15°, with scattered thunderstorms on the cards throughout the night.
Ladysmith: A cloudy and humid day is forecast, with temperatures set to reach a high of 24°. Showers and thunderstorms can be expected during the day. Nighttime temperatures are predicted to drop to 17°, with further rain anticipated.
Vryheid: A cooler and cloudy day is expected, with temperatures peaking at 22° and the potential for thunderstorms during the day. Evening temperatures are predicted to drop to 15°, with scattered showers expected during the night.
