In a heart-stopping incident this Friday morning, the 26 April 2024, a truck driver escaped grave harm after reportedly careening his vehicle into an embankment near Ingogo, en route to Newcastle.
According to reports from Road Angels South Africa, the truck driver was navigating the N11 when he encountered a mechanical glitch that compromised his brakes.
Faced with the daunting prospect of a catastrophic collision, the driver frantically sought a safe means to bring his runaway vehicle to a halt. In a split-second decision, he veered into an embankment along the roadside.
Despite the truck slamming into an embankment on the opposing lane, miraculously, no casualties or injuries were reported. Starz Towing has since rushed to the scene, initiating efforts to clear the debris and ensure the safety of the area.
As the cleanup operation unfolds, motorists are strongly advised to exercise utmost caution while traversing the vicinity, mindful of the lingering hazards posed by the incident.
