The search for the missing Tyisha Niemand continues with law enforcement becoming more and more determined to locate the teenager.
The 17 year old teenager went missing on 13 June 2023 and was last seen at Newcastle High School. On the day that she went missing, Tyisha was allegedly seen changing out of her school uniform into casual attire before vanishing without a trace.

As the search enters its sixth week, law enforcement agencies, particularly the Newcastle SAPS, are intensifying their efforts to find the young girl. Despite their relentless pursuit, there has been no breakthrough in the case so far. The authorities are gravely concerned for her safety, considering her status as a minor.
Renegades Search & Rescue, part of the search operation, issued a heartfelt plea to the public for any information that could lead to Tyisha’s whereabouts. They emphasised the urgency of the situation, stressing the need to locate her.
“We humbly appeal to the public for any information, as she is a minor, and there is much concern for her safety at this moment,” said a representative from Renegades Search & Rescue.
Newcastle SAPS is also calling on the community to come forward with any information that may assist in bringing Tyisha Niemand back home safely. To aid in the search, they have provided contact information for individuals who might have any leads on her location.
