The Dannhauser police are calling on both Newcastle residents and Newcastillians from neighbouring towns to help locate Nosihle Amahle Zwane.

The KZN spokesperson for the South African Police Service (SAPS), Lieutenant Colonel Nqobile Gwala said that the 23-year-old woman had been missing for almost a month now.

Letting us know what happened on the day, Lieutenant Nqobile explained, “On 9 October 2022, she left her home, travelling to Newcastle and she has not been seen since. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a pink t-shirt and white takkies.”

Reaching out to the Northern KwaZulu-Natal communities, the Lieutenant asked that anyone with information that can assist the police, to contact the investigating officer, Detective Captain Sikhakhane on 034 621 6517 or 082 411 7081. Alternatively, people can also contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111.  Additionally, tip-offs can be submitted using the My SAPS App.

Moreover, the police have emphasised that there is no waiting period to report a missing person and that it was essential to provide as much information as possible when reporting the case.
