Loadshedding has taken a rather unusual turn, with Eskom advising road users of the temporary closure of the N3, for approximately two hours at allocated periods.
The power utility will be pulling conductors across the N3 in the Lions River area in the upcoming week. According to Eskom, the closure will affect traffic on both northbound and southbound carriageways of the N3 highway. In a statement, the state-owned enterprise says, “Traffic officials will be in attendance and will divert traffic off the N3.”
