Forming part of Mediclinic Southern Africa’s drive to assist their various medical facilities in the affected areas—the supply of food parcels to its hospitals in KZN rolled out this week. On Wednesday morning, 21 July 2021, 600 food parcels consisting of fresh produce and staple goods were supplied to Mediclinic Newcastle staff, support staff and even the security officials on site.
“We are incredibly thankful to Mediclinic Southern Africa, and are humbled. This is something which is usually done for family and not staff. We are all extremely grateful and extend our gratitude,” states Mediclinic Newcastle. Furthermore, food parcels were simultaneously sent to Mediclinic Victoria in Tongaat and Mediclinic Pietermaritzburg, ensuring staff could provide for their respective families.
As people and companies unite following the aftermath of the riots, how do you feel South Africans have grown closer together?
