Newcastle SAPS are appealing to the public for assistance as detectives intensify efforts to trace two suspects currently under investigation in the Newcastle area. With enquiries ongoing, officers are seeking community cooperation to identify the suspects and, in doing so, help progress the investigations.
The two individuals are regarded as persons of interest by the Newcastle Vehicle Investigation Crime Unit.

Although police cannot release their names, spokesperson Lizzy Aramugam confirmed that identikits of both suspects have been compiled and circulated.
Furthermore, Aramugam emphasised that public involvement could prove pivotal in advancing the investigations. Residents who may have seen the suspects, or who recognise them from the identikits, are encouraged to come forward, as even limited details could assist officers in establishing their whereabouts.
If anyone can identify the following suspect, be sure to contact Sergeant Ndebele on 079 500 1447.

Similarly, the second suspect’s identikit is provided below, and anyone able to identify the suspect is urged to contact Constable Mathenjwa on 079 500 1447.

While police have not indicated that the suspects are considered dangerous, residents are strongly advised not to approach them. Instead, any sightings or relevant information should be reported directly to law enforcement so that officers can respond safely and in accordance with established procedures.
As enquiries continue, police underscore the importance of timely and accurate information from the public, noting that even seemingly minor details could assist in progressing the investigations.
