Newcastle residents are being urged to remain vigilant and come forward with any information that could help locate 24-year-old Lindokuhle Kantwela, who was allegedly forced into a white VW Polo and has not been seen since.
Sharing the details, Newcastle Community Policing Forum’s (CPF) Belinda Ellor confirmed that Lindokuhle was last seen in Madadeni, Section 5, near the Technical College entrance by Qedizaba Primary School, on Thursday, 18 September 2025, between 12pm and 1pm.

It was during this time that Lindokuhle was reportedly forced into the white Polo.
Although the vehicle was later recovered and the driver taken into custody, Lindokuhle has still not been found, and there has been no communication.
Ellor emphasised that the 24-year-old was last seen wearing light blue jeans with torn knees, in line with current fashion trends, and a blue jersey.
Authorities and the CPF are appealing to the public to assist in bringing Lindokuhle home safely.
