Newcastle authorities are appealing for public assistance in locating 63-year-old Kevin Cleary, who has been missing since leaving his home in Amiel Park on Wednesday, 4 June 2025.
According to Belinda Ellor of the Newcastle Community Policing Forum, Mr Cleary, also known as Cokes, was last seen departing his residence on foot at approximately 8:00 AM.
Concerns have escalated as his mobile phone has been switched off, and there have been no reported sightings or contact since his departure.
At the time of his disappearance, Mr Cleary was wearing rust-coloured trousers, a black zip-up jacket, and casual takkies.
Moreover, the Newcastle South African Police Service (SAPS) and Community Policing Forum (CPF) are actively working to locate him and are calling on residents to remain vigilant. Authorities urge anyone with information to report sightings immediately to aid in the search efforts.
