14 Injured After Taxi Overturns on Vulintaba Road

Numerous people were injured on Monday, 14 April 2025, along the D96, commonly known as Vulintaba Road, after the taxi they were traveling in overturned on the route.

According to an eyewitness at the scene, the incident, which occurred just after 7 am, unfolded as the vehicle proceeded up the D96. “A dog ran across the road, and the driver attempted to swerve as to avoid the dog, but overturned,” said the eyewitness.

Following the crash, emergency personnel arrived quickly at the scene, where a paramedic confirmed that 14 people were injured. The paramedic noted that the injuries were not serious, though the injured would be transported to a hospital for further evaluation.
