Application for New Psychiatric Healthcare Facility

Ikhaya Lempilo Private Psychiatric Hospital intends to file an application with the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health for approval to erect and operate a 60-bed psychiatric healthcare facility in Sunnyridge, Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal.

This facility will cater to voluntary patients and will include services such as Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), aimed at providing comprehensive mental
health care.

We invite the community and interested parties to provide feedback regarding this application. Your input is valuable in ensuring that our services meet the needs of the community we serve.

    Such institution is needed in our Region since there is no private mental health care institution, people have to travel to be admitted in areas such Pietermaritzburg or Pretoria.such institution will play vital role as many people are suffering from mental illness and government is failing to provide adequate and necessary resources to care for mentally ill person in government institutions
