Woman found dead at Allen Street petrol station, do you know her?

The body of a young woman was found at a local petrol station in Allen Street on 18 December 2021. Now over a month later, the woman’s body is still in the Newcastle Mortuary.

Therefore, Newcastle Police Detectives are now appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the woman.

Warrant Officer V Pawunkumar says, “The woman was found deceased at a petrol station in Allen Street. She was found at 1 am in front of an ATM and the cause of death was an infection in her lungs.”

The woman is thought to be in her late twenties and has a musical note tattoo on her left arm.

The Newcastle SAPS has provided a photograph of the deceased woman. If anyone knows who she is, please call the investigating officer, Warrant Officer V Pawnkumar, on 084 444 2231.
