A raging inferno engulfed a store at the corner of Allen and Harding Streets in the Newcastle CBD last night, 16 November 2020. A source on the scene claims there is a great degree of uncertainty as to how the fire exactly started.
However, he claims people were allegedly seen running from the scene by emergency personnel, shortly after they responded to the call. It is speculated the fire broke out after an alleged break-in.
Further investigations into the matter will be conducted.
