Three people have sadly lost their lives in a horrific head-on collision on the R34 Road. The incident took place this afternoon, August 11, at approximately 3.25 pm.
According to an official on the scene, one of the motorists had allegedly attempted to avoid hitting a goat on the road and swerved. It was then, that the motorist collided into another vehicle.
Three people died, with four others sustaining minor injuries and one other sustaining major injuries.
Motorists are encouraged to practice caution while travelling on the R34, as officials are on the scene and traffic is severely affected due to the collision.
