A new era of driving has dawned on South African roads, with the launch of the new generation Mazda3.

Fedauto Mazda Newcastle was a flourish of activity on Tuesday, August 7, as the car dealership unveiled the handsomely sleek Mazda3.

Fazil Seedat of Fedauto Mazda Newcastle explains this spectacular vehicle is not the result of a facelift. “This is an entirely brand-new vehicle and is the first 7th generation Mazda to be launched in South Africa.”

Kicking off the range is a 1.5-litre motor with 88 kW and 153 Nm. The 2.0-litre motor produces 121 kW and 213 Nm. The 1.5-litre is available with both a manual and automatic gearbox option, with the 2.0 available with an automatic only.

The Mazda3 1.5 engine comes with three selections to choose from, the 1.5 Active, the 1.5 Dynamic and 1.5 Individual. Each offering motorists a unique and powerful driving experience.

With much ado, local Mazda lovers soaked up the opportunity to admire the new addition to the Mazda family, which is set to truly gear up your driving experience.
