South Africans are known across the globe for their cultural diversity and unique sense of humour.

Who doesn’t enjoy ‘n Bietjie Afrikaans, a little English and sommer ‘n klomp laughs?

That’s what comedy fans can expect on July 27 at Blackrock Casino, when three of SA’s funniest bi-lingual comedians come together for a night of hilarities.

It may be winter but there’s nothing cold about the line-up which features Alfred Adriaan, Melt Sieberhagen and Rob van Vuuren.

Alfred Adriaan is a hilariously funny and relatable comedian, with his shows deeply rooted in everyday life. With his comedy based on reality, he is able to connect with people from different age groups and backgrounds.

What many don’t know, is that Alfred has over a decade’s worth of experience as a Brand and Marketing Manager, which allows him to understand what people search for in entertainment.

Rob van Vuuren is a comedy legend in South Africa, best known for his role as Twakkie in the SABC2 comedy series The Most Amazing Show, which aired from 2006 to 2007.

Appearing in numerous stage productions and having written, produced and starred in both one-man and two-man shows, Rob needs no introduction to the entertainment industry.

He has even received various award nominations, one of these being the Fleur Du Cap Nomination for Best Supporting Actor in Beauty Queen of Leenan.

Melt Sieberhagen is an actor, comedian, voice artists, scriptwriter, editor and director who has appeared in several television series. These include Egoli, 7de Laan, Isidingo and Song vir Katryn. He has also appeared in movies such as Poena is Koning, Footskating 101 and District 9.

Melt also has an illustrious stand-up comedy career.

The show is sure to give you an authentic taste of the best in SA comedy.  It’s a big show in an intimate space, perfect for a night of comedy that promises loads of belly-laughs.

Be sure not to miss out on this one-night-only performance taking place at Blackrock Casino. Tickets cost R150 through Computicket.  This show is rated PG-16.
