Ladysmith: Overcast skies are on the cards, with temperatures peaking at 22°. Thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. By evening, the air cools to 14°, and those scattered storms will stick around to punctuate the night. 

Vryheid: A thunderstorm will kick things off right from the start, pushing temperatures up to 20° during the day. Evening brings a cool 15°, with a passing rain shower adding a final touch to the day’s weather.

Saturday, 29 March 2025:

Newcastle: Warmer weather takes the stage, with temperatures forecast to hit a high of 29° under clearer conditions. As night falls, the temperature drops to a crisp 12°, offering a cool end to a pleasant day. 

Ladysmith: Expect warm weather to dominate, with temperatures reaching 30°. Evening sees a decline to 14°.

Vryheid: Partial sunshine will brighten the day, driving temperatures to 29°. Come evening, the thermometer dips to 13°.

Sunday, 30 March 2025: 

Newcastle: Temperatures will climb back up to 27°. Thunderstorms are set to return and shake up the day. Evening temperatures will cool off to 14°.

Ladysmith: The day heats up to 28°, though thunderstorms will emerge as afternoon approaches. Evening temperatures settle at 16°, joined by showers and a thunderstorm for good measure. 

Vryheid: Sunshine starts the day, but clouds will gather and lead to an afternoon thunderstorm, with temperatures topping out at 27°. Evening drops to 15°, and another thunderstorm is expected to roll through overnight.
