Chaos ensued along Drakensberg Drive on Monday morning, 5 August 2024, after a vehicle crashed into the perimeter wall of a residence on the bustling road.
The exact circumstances leading to the incident are unclear, with officials on the scene left speculating as to the exact cause of the crash.
However, a source on the scene explained that it is believed that the motorist was travelling along Drakensberg Drive shortly before 8 am and suddenly lost control of his vehicle. This apparently saw the driver struggle to regain control, ultimately resulting in the car smashing into the resident’s perimeter wall with a resounding impact.
Incredibly, despite the dramatic crash, no injuries were reported. The scene, however, was one of considerable commotion and will now be subject to a thorough police investigation.
