Two people taken to hospital following crash on N11 near Ingogo

Two people were transported to hospital on Tuesday morning, 12 March 2024, after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed on the N11 near Ingogo.

While the precise circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, Charles Steyn from Magenta Emergency Medical Services disclosed that the car overturned on the road and came to rest on the open land next to the road.

It is suspected that the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Both occupants of the car sustained injuries, prompting the response of Magenta Emergency Medical Services and ER24. Paramedics provided initial treatment at the scene before transferring the patients to hospital for further care.

As investigations into the exact cause of the accident continue, motorists are urged to practice caution on the roads.
