Dancing is an art form which captivates the heart, mind and soul. It is an expression of self and a test of physical endurance.
Albert Einstein, one of the greatest minds in history, once said, “Dancers are the athletes of God.” His words emphasising the beauty of dance and the strength that went into it. When it comes to ballet and modern dancing, people often look out of Newcastle’s borders.
Yet, within our town is a group of dancers who prove that Newcastle truly has massive talent.
On Wednesday, November 28, (and Thursday, November 29), En Stage Dance Studio held its annual year-end concert. Themed Around the World, the two-day concert saw dancers perform a series of dances, each dance linked to a specific country.
With the dancers taking the audience around the world, from South Africa to Brazil, Argentina, China and even Spain, the audience found itself transported to a magical world of dance. Each performance capturing the very essence of the beauty found within each culture.
Well done to all the dancers, a beautiful and skilled show was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We look forward to reporting on more productions from En Stage Dance Studio in the very near future.
