Recently, the top ten learners per grade were selected for their outstanding academic accolades.

Well done to the learners on an outstanding performance. Their achievements prove their diligence and dedication to their school work and education.

While the academic learners prove their worth in the classroom, three pupils are showing why Drakensberg Primary is a formidable force on the cricket pitch.

Marius Nell, Coushay Koen en Eli Erasmus were recently selected for the KZN Inland cricket team. Drakies extends its congratulations to the boys for their achievement.

Nthando Dlamini is also a great source of pride for the primary school. On October 13, Nthando participated in the Radikale Redenaars.

At the event, Nthando secured second place. An achievement which the school is extensively proud of.

This is a huge pat on the back to the primary school, which clearly has raised the bar here in Newcastle.
