According to ward councillor, Matthew Shunmugam, the mobile clinic will be testing all basic vitals and conducting basic medical check-ups in the hopes of early detection of conditions.

Noting, there is no charge to the community and the services offered on the day include; family planning, child health, HIV counselling and testing, COVID-19 screening and testing, STI’s, Immunisation, TB screening and management. As well as, initiating ARVs and Pap smears. The mobile clinic will be operating at the park near the Suryaville Municipal Flats, from 9 am until 4 pm.

Looking at the mobile clinic, Cllr Shumugam encourages Ward 3 residents to attend, with no concern of long queues. Going on to elaborate, “It is bringing essential health care to the doorstep of residents.
