Newcastle Municipality has issued an important notice, warning that four suburbs will be experiencing water interruptions on Thursday, June 18.
According to Newcastle Municipality’s Communication Unit, Aviary Hill, Hutten Heights, Schuinshoogte and parts of Pioneer Park will be without water from 7am until 4pm. This is due to the re-installation of the PRV supplying the areas.
While apologising for the inconvenience, the communications unit explains the installation of the PRV is important. The installation will be done in order to prevent further water disruptions in the future.
According to the communications unit, a water truck will be providing residents with water during the day.
