In the pursuit of excellence, Drakensberg Primary School strives to excel in both the classroom and on the sports grounds.
With the pupils giving it their all, showing immense pride in their school, their efforts have not gone unnoticed. The school acknowledging the effort pupils put in their daily routine, both in and outside the classroom.
Drakensberg Primary has recently announced the first teams for rugby, netball and for both the boys’ and girls’ hockey teams. They are as follows:

As the teams prepare to dominate the sports grounds, the school congratulates Londeka Mthethwa on her recent sporting accolades.
Londeka recently secured third place at the NKZN tennis trials, in the category for u/13 girls. With the next round of trials set to take place from February 28 to February 29 in Durban, Drakensberg Primary wishes Londeka luck, emphasising that the school is extremely proud of her.
The school extends a further heartfelt congratulations to Bernard Botha, who has recently won a trophy for his efforts in Taekwondo.
As Drakensberg Primary celebrates its pupils’ sporting accolades, the school also acknowledges the role learners play in pursuing their spiritual education.
For the past 18 years, Enza de Jager has coached the Carpe Diem Praise and Worship Dance group, sharing her knowledge with the school’s learners.
On Friday, February 7, Mrs de Jager, Janu Badenhorst and Sinezibusiso Seme performed the Bible story of David and Goliath, much to the delight of the school staff and pupils.
Well done to all the pupils from Drakensberg Primary, as they proudly hold up their school’s name.
