A desperate call for assistance is being made to Northern KwaZulu-Natal residents as the search for Willem Jacobus Scheepers continues. Scheepers in an 80-year-old from Dundee who went missing under distressing circumstances.

According to The Pink Ladies Organisation, Scheepers was last seen at his Dundee home at 10 am on 1 September 2024, after dropping off a family member.
Since then, he has vanished without a trace, and his family is engulfed in worry. The Pink Ladies emphasised that Scheepers is particularly vulnerable due to his health conditions. A family member disclosed that he is diabetic and requires insulin, and he is also on heart medication following a triple heart bypass and stent placement.
Moreover, Scheepers is described as having an average build, standing 1.63 metres tall and weighing 70kg. He has blue eyes and wears black-framed glasses. A distinctive feature is his large, broad nose with a prominent tip, and he carries a noticeable scar on his chest from his heart surgery.
At the time he was last seen, Scheepers was wearing blue denim jeans, a blue checkered shirt, and brown shoes. He drives a white Toyota Camry, which has a Sharks sticker on the boot. The vehicle’s registration number is NDE 19709.
