Now is the time for Newcastle residents to grab the opportunity with both hands and sign up for a fibre connection; to make full use of the technology to carve out a more stable and lucrative future for themselves. This is according to Bradley Bekker, Head of Brand at Evotel, which has completed the build of its fast and reliable fibre network infrastructure in the town.

Just over two years ago, Evotel started building its fibre network across 14 suburbs in Newcastle and it has been up and running for a good few months without any issues.

“We promised the Newcastle community a fast and reliable fibre network and we are confident that we have made good on that promise. Despite some difficulty we experienced with a contractor, which we immediately addressed and replaced, I am happy to say that we have successfully implemented the most stable and fastest technology to access the internet in Newcastle for everyone to benefit from. The time is now for those who aren’t yet connected to sign up for fibre and experience first-hand all the good this technology can offer, and the benefits fibre can afford Newcastle residents,” says Bekker.

The benefits of fibre

With the benefit of speed and reliability fibre offers users won’t look back at the technology of old. In today’s ever-increasing online lifestyle fibre’s speed and reliability will change how you have experienced multi-media content.

You will be able to immerse yourself in movies with 4K and 8K high-resolution imagery setting the scene and you will be able to do this without ever having to be bothered by waiting for content to download or any irritating buffering while streaming. “Smooth and seamless streaming is what awaits, which, when it comes to gaming and with first-person shooter games can mean the difference between life and death, adds Bekker.

Fibre is a seamless must-have for both business and pleasure or for simply keeping your multitude of devices and appliances connected, like your security system and cameras or your smart fridge and washing machine. You won’t have to worry about having them run simultaneously.

Notes Bekker: “Running a business or working from home is so much easier and comfortable with fibre because you’re working with large bandwidth, crystal clear video and fluid sharing of files is no problem at all. You don’t have to worry about capacity with the right line.”

Just imagine a home environment where, while the husband and wife are both frantically busy with their day-to-day work and/or running their businesses from home, one child can be attending online school or university without disruptions and the other child can be doing secure online banking with the pocket money received this morning. But wait, that is not all, at the same time the grandparents can either be watching high-resolution movies in the lounge or be video chatting with friends who are away on a Mediterranean cruise,” Bekker adds.

This is what fibre access will allow you to do all at once, plus more.

“Make this your reality and contact any Internet Service Provider (ISP) or us at Evotel directly and get fibre to your home installed and activated right now. You’ll thank us, you’ll see,” Bekker concludes.
