St Dominics Newcastle Golf Day – pictures and winners in article

Taking to the fairway at the Newcastle Golf Club on Saturday, 17 April 2021—approximately 100 golfers participated in the St Dominics Newcastle Golf Day powered by Itec Newcastle.

Executive Head of St Dominics Newcastle, Chad Moses, states, “With St Dominics Newcastle celebrating 130 years, today was earmarked to not only play a good game of golf but to also engage with the community and families who support St Dominics and celebrate the occasion with them.”

With a substantial number of participants enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, the ideal weather conditions and celebrating the private school’s 130 years of excellence, Moses points out the golf day was well received. Stating, “We truly had a good response, keeping it at 100 players due to the COVID-19 protocols and regulations.”

With laughter filling the air, as golfers soaked up the day, Moses adds, “We would like to thank the community for supporting St Dominics and all the well wishes, which shows the school is definitely part of the community.”

The winners of the day are:

  • Taking first place, Patrick Ashe and Dennis Gillet.
  • Clinching second place, Raymond and Tanya van Niekerk.
  • Third place winners, Jannie Esterhuizen and Uppies Upton.
  • Andrew Kirkland was the lucky winner of the raffle.

Well done to the winners and a special thanks go out to everyone who supported the day.
