The Newcastle Municipality has confirmed it will be implementing Stage 2 loadshedding as of 12 pm today, 15 March 2021, until Wednesday, 17 March 2021.

Head of Communications for the municipality, Mlungisi Khumalo emphasises geysers will not be turned off as recently communicated. He states, “Residents are urged to make the necessary arrangements before power is disrupted.” The Newcastle Municipality has issued a roster for an accurate reading of loadshedding times, ensuring Newcastillians can prepare for power outages.
