Hennie de Bruyn & die Kitaarkerels

May 31 – For those who enjoy an evening of good music and socialising, Hennie de Bruyn & die Kitaarkerels will be performing at Ferrum High School.
The event is set to begin at 6 pm and the cost is R100 per person. People are encouraged to bring their own food and drink.
All funds will be raised for SAVF Huis Joanna Utrecht, who will also be the hosts for the evening.

VKB Newcastle Boere Rally

June 1 – The VKB Boere Rally will take place at Hope Farm Sale yards, starting at 8.30am and set to finish at 4.00pm.
The rally will see teams navigate around the Newcastle/Normandien rally route, earning points at each pit stop, by participating in different challenges.

Burns/Bedingfield/Watts Acoustic Colab

June 1 – For music lovers, this is one event you will not want to miss. Be sure to welcome the official dawn of winter at Pint & Pigout with an afternoon of music.
The event is set to begin at 3 pm and the entrance is free. With acoustic music and talented musicians, the day promises to warm up the cool winter night.
Oval Track

June 1 – For motorsport enthusiasts, an evening of high-octane fun is expected at the Newcastle Raceway Club.
With the monthly Oval Track racing event set to take place on Saturday evening, be sure to support the event and cheer on your favourite racer.
The event begins at 6 pm. Entrance fee is R50 per adult, R20 for children under 12 and R10 per car.
Hack Attack Golf League

June 2 – For those who prefer the soothing outdoors, while socialising, the next leg of the Hack Attack Social Golf League is set to take place at Kilbarchan Golf Club.
Offering golfing enthusiasts an ideal opportunity to enjoy the sport of golf, the Hack Attack Social Golf League takes place once a month, alternating between Kilbarchan Golf Course, Newcastle Golf Club and Vulintaba Golf Course.
