An atmosphere of excitement surges through Status Hall on Sunday, February 17. Today is a day like no other, as the Hindu community rally together to celebrate their culture.

The Hindi Pracharni Sabha (HPS) is an organisation which teaches the community about the Hindi culture and language.

The teaching of the Hindi language by HPS falls under Hindi Shiksha Sangh (HSS), an organisation based in Durban. Affiliated with HSS, HPS obtains the syllabus and examinations from the organisation, ensuring learners can immerse themselves in their studies.

With Hindvani falling under the HSS umbrella, streaming live at the Status Hall signifies just how important it is for HPS to promote the Hindu culture in Newcastle.
