Four men barged into a home situated on Murchison Street earlier today, February 13.
According to a source on the scene, three of the men had firearms. Allowing them to threaten the residents during the house robbery.
“There were three women and an elderly man in the house at the time. The suspects managed to get approximately R20 000 in cash and a cellphone,” he explains.
While no serious injuries are reported, the source claims the residents are in a state of shock.
Following the robbery, the men escaped on foot and a search is currently underway.
