Calling all golfers, the time has come to get your golf clubs at the ready for a charitable cause.

The annual Stucky Motors Ncandu 86 Round Table Golf Day will be taking place on January 26.

Vernon van der Merwe, president for the Ncandu 86 Round Table, explains funds raised at the golf day will go towards charity. “We will identify a cause to donate the monies too,” he says.

Will you be teeing off for charity this January 26?

In the quest to help those in need, the Round Table recently assisted the SPCA by giving money towards the organisation’s renovations.

Taking place at Newcastle Golf Course, the event will be a Better Ball format. Entrance is R200, which includes a light meal. The event will be a shot gun start, set to begin at 10am. Closing date for entries will be January 23.

Spot prizes will be handed out on the day.

For more information, be sure to contact Craig Elliot on 065 808 5569 or Byron Bjorseth on 084 480 7144.

With the Round Table dedicated to promoting upliftment within the community, be sure to support the initiative. Through a game of golf, not only can you enjoy a day of socialising with friends, but you can make a difference within the community.

The Newcastillian will see you there.
