A traditional healer is in hot water, after trying to sell human body parts.

At the time of his arrest, he was apparently looking for buyers for the body parts. He allegedly approached several traditional healers around the Emanguzi area.

It is the traditional healers in the area that raised the alarm with the police. When he approached them, he claimed he was in possession of human body parts. And was selling them for a measly R4 000.

Police investigations are currently underway. The SAPS need to determine if he is responsible for other crimes in the province. He is currently facing charges for the illegal possession of suspected human body parts.

Furthermore, it is unclear who the body parts belong to. A DNA analysis will need to be done to confirm if the parts belong to one individual or to more than one.

As police try to link the suspect to other crimes and identify the remains, one can only hope he is brought to justice
