BLIA Food Fair

Join BLIA for a fun-filled food fair.

 

The Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) will host a food fair on Sunday, September 23. The event will take place from 10 am to 2 pm at the Newcastle Meditation Centre, 88 Victoria Road.

Entertainment will take place from 1.30am until 12.30pm, which is sure to captivate guests attention.

As a fundraising initiative, the community is invited to join in the day’s festivities. Funds raised will go towards community projects.

Newcastle Mall Rainbow Run

Get out your running shoes for the Newcastle Mall’s annual Rainbow Run.

 

Newcastle Mall is hosting its annual 8km Rainbow Run on Monday, September 24. The event will take place from 9 am until 2 pm, so be sure to register today at the Edgars Court in Newcastle Mall. Entrance fee is R25 per person.

There will be a draw, where a member of the community stands a chance of winning an MSC Cruise.

With the promise of a relaxing long weekend, don’t forget to get out the braai to enjoy a truly South African experience with friends and family. After all, Monday is Heritage Day and as South Africans, what better way to celebrate our heritage, than with a good old-fashioned braai and good company.
