While creating a musical escape for the Newcastle community, the focus of the choir festival is for the choirs themselves. At choir competitions, choirs don’t have the opportunity to hear what other school choirs sound like. Through Newcastle High’s Choir Festival, schools from NKZN can enjoy performances from other schools, while learning from them, and showcasing their own musical talent.

The festival ended with all the high school choirs uniting for one song, a true magical, music moment.
