War torn Rwanda and Zim rated safer than SA! – A must read!

Over recent months, protestors have wreaked havoc. This comes after trucks were burned down and looted after the trucking protest, and on June 25, the Mpumalanga Mall went up in smoke.

Alongside the crime, one needs to ask, how safe is South Africa? Are we as citizens in a war zone? According to a study by American research company, Gallup, South Africans don’t seem to feel all that safe. This comes after the release of its Global Law and Order Index.

Do you think South Africa has an issue with crime?

According to the study, South Africa falls into group of least safe countries in the world! The study claims the countries with lowest law and order scores are:

• Bolivia with 61 points
• Sierra Leone with 61 points
• Botswana with 61 points
• Dominican Republic with 60 points
• Mexico with 58 points
• South Africa with 58 points
• Liberia with 56 points
• Gabon with 55 points
• South Sudan with 54 points
• Afghanistan with 45 points
• Venezuela with 44 points

Compared to countries such as Singapore, who scored 97 points, Iceland which secured 93 points and China and Egypt, who both scored 88 points, things do look rather bleak for South Africa. But, how does the research company come up with its scores?

Gallups Law and Order Index uses four questions to gauge peoples’ sense of security and their experience with local law enforcement. These questions are:

1. In the city or area where you live, do you have confidence in the local police force?
2. Do you feel safe walking alone at night in the city or area where you live?
3. Within the last 12 months, have you had money or property stolen from you or another household member?
4. Within the past 12 months, have you been robbed or mugged?

These are the questions posed to random people around the globe, which in turn speaks volumes about South Africa. By these four questions, it does not seem as though SA is the holiday destination and transformation country the world was lead to believe.

What many South Africans might find flabbergasting, according to the stats supplied by the study, both Rwanda and Zimbabwe with 83 points and 73 points respectively scored better than us.  Yes, Zim and war torn Rwanda is better off than South Africa, let that swirl around in your head before reading on.

It seams as though everything important is being ignored like crime, livability and public safety, for the sake of a Government whom is solely focused on empowering a group of South Africans, at the expense of an entire country whilst indoctrinating a destructive culture.

The proof can been seen when simply viewing the stats on how many people are packing up and immigrating.

With this rather startling research programme, we ask you our readers, do you think crime in South Africa is bad and do you have faith in our police force?
