Ferrum High School has a new principal leading its learners and staff, following Wynaand Swanepoel’s retirement.
Charmain Myburgh officially took the helm of the high school on June 1, marking the dawn of a new era. Myburgh joined the school’s management team in 2009, working tirelessly along with the management team.
As a highly qualified and experienced teacher, holding two Masters’ Degress; one in Linguistics and another in Education Management. But, Myburgh’s qualifications don’t end there. She also has a BA degree in Afrikaans and History, as well as an honorary degree in Education Management.

Through her extensive knowledge and experience, the school is excited to have her steering the school for the foreseeable future.
“It will be both an honour and a privilege to serve the community of Ferrum High School. I look forward to this exciting challenge. I know with the support of our excellent School Governing Body, a hard working management team and dedicated staff, I will be able to lead this wonderful school to an even higher level of excellence” Myburgh said.
Congratulations Charmaine Myburgh, we look forward to reporting on your success.
