Taxi City Spar is celebrating its 12th birthday on April 12, with the franchise bracing itself for a celebration of epic proportions.
“We will be holding our birthday celebrations. Alongside it, we will relaunch the store from a Spar to a Super Spar Country,” says assistant store manager, Roland Puckering. Changing to a Super Spar Country will see changes to the supermarket, as it does need to meet certain criteria.
To meet the criteria, the franchise will offer a wider range of exact products. This will enhance shoppers experience at the store, ensuring their shopping needs are met.
Furthermore, with the store’s birthday coinciding with the relaunch of the store, Newcastillians will have much to look forward to. On April 24, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held with dignitaries. There will also be giveaways and prizes.
However, the festivities will not last just for the day. Shoppers can enjoy looking forward to two full weeks of special prizes and chances to win at Taxi City Spar. This is to give back to the Newcastle community, which has ensured that the store has been able to offer the best products to the town for the past 12 years.
