Vehicle smashes into store’s wall – CBD Newcastle.
A motor vehicle smashed into a store’s wall this morning, February 7.
This follows a collision at the intersection of Murchison and Allen Streets, shortly before 7am.
Circumstances surrounding the collision are unclear. However, it is speculated a car skipped a red traffic light, colliding into another vehicle.
During the course of the collision, one of the vehicles came to a grinding halt outside Mr Pansula, smashing into the store’s wall.
The motorists sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for medical treatment.
While paramedics attended to the injured, traffic officers ensured traffic flow remained smooth and that no further collisions occurred.
Further investigations into the matter will be conducted.
