Though the exact sequence of events remains under investigation, an official source at the scene shed some light on the terrifying moment.

“The motorist had apparently heard the train driver blow his train’s horn as she was crossing, and she slammed on brakes to avoid a collision. However, her vehicle was apparently still slightly on the tracks, which resulted in the train hitting her vehicle,” the official source explained.

By sheer luck—or perhaps a miracle—the motorist escaped unharmed. Paramedics rushed to the scene to assess her condition and ensure no hidden injuries were overlooked.

Emergency crews quickly secured the area, diverting traffic and began working on clearing debris and launching an investigation to determine how the motorist ended up in the train’s path.

This close call has prompted urgent warnings to motorists to exercise extreme caution at railway crossings. Authorities are reminding drivers to approach tracks with vigilance and ensure there is no train before proceeding, as the consequences of such a mistake can be catastrophic.

Any basic investigation should include where she received her licence, the driving school instructor she used and the Traffic Officer who assessed her.

I don’t understand how she could not see the train coming IF she had stopped at the stop sign

They should have signal booms that drop down when a train is approaching.

  4. Mendo Gampu says:

Investigate if she was sober, and indeed check her license status and open a case of rackless driving
