Weekend weather forecast for Newcastle, Ladysmith and Dundee

With the arrival of the weekend, and following a warning from SAWS regarding cold and inclement weather over the next few days, let’s take a closer look at AccuWeather’s forecast for Newcastle, Ladysmith and Dundee.

Friday, 5 April 2024:

Newcastle: Temperatures in Newcastle are forecast to peak at 27°. According to AccuWeather, showers and a thunderstorm are on the cards for the afternoon. Nighttime temperatures are expected to dip to a cool 14° with evening showers predicted.

Ladysmith: The town can expect temperatures to reach 28°. A thunderstorm is forecast for the afternoon. Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to 14°, with evening showers set to make an appearance.

Dundee: A day with cloud cover and sunshine is set for Dundee. Temperatures are forecast to reach 26°. A thunderstorm is expected in the afternoon. Nighttime temperatures will dip to 14°. A little rain should also be expected in the evening.

Saturday, 6 April 2024:

Newcastle: A cool Saturday is on the cards for Newcastle. Temperatures are predicted to peak at 19°. A stray thunderstorm is likely in the morning. An overcast and cool night is forecast, with temperatures expected to drop to 13° with some rain during the night.

Ladysmith: A cooler Saturday is also forecast for Ladysmith. Temperatures should reach 19°. Showers are expected over the course of the day. Nighttime temperatures are predicted to drop to 14° with periods of rainy weather.

Dundee: A cloudy and cooler day awaits Dundee, with temperatures expected to peak at 18°. Occasional rainfall and drizzle are forecast to take place early in the day. Nighttime temperatures are predicted to dip to 13°, with a bit of rain during the night.

Sunday, 7 April 2024:

Newcastle: A cool day can be expected with temperatures forecast to reach a high of 17°. Periods of rain are predicted during the day. Nighttime temperatures will dip to 13°. A little evening rain is also on the cards.

Ladysmith: A cloudy and cool day awaits Ladysmith. Temperatures are forecast to peak at 16°. AccuWeather states that rainfall would start tapering off in Ladysmith. Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to 14° with some rain during the night.

Dundee: Temperatures in Dundee will peak at 16°. Periods of rainfall are predicted for the day. Nighttime temperatures are expected to dip to a cool 13°. A little rain is expected for the night.

With cooler, wet weather conditions on the cards for the three towns over the weekend, be sure to stay safe.
