Injury reported after collision at N11 and Allen Street intersection

A collision occurred on Wednesday afternoon, 27 September 2023, shortly after 4 pm at the intersection of N11 and Allen Street, leaving one person injured.

According to an official source at the scene, the collision transpired when a Toyota was proceeding along the N11, and a Volkswagen, approaching from the Madadeni direction, attempted to make a turn onto Allen Street.

Charles Steyn of Magenta EMS, confirmed that one individual suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. The injured person was promptly transported to the hospital for further assessment and treatment.

In response to the incident, traffic authorities and Atlas Towing arrived on the scene to facilitate the clearing of the site and ensure the prevention of any subsequent accidents.

While no serious injuries were reported in this particular collision, Steyn issued a cautionary reminder to motorists, urging them to adjust their driving behaviour in accordance with prevailing weather conditions and to exercise prudence on the roads.
