Two seriously injured as two trucks collide on N11

A dramatic collision between two trucks occurred on Monday, 31 July 2023, just before noon, along the N11, resulting in a temporary closure of the road. Emergency personnel rushed to the scene to provide immediate assistance.

According to an official police source onsite, the cause of the collision remains uncertain at this time.

However, the source confirmed that two individuals suffered severe injuries as a result of the accident. Prompt action was taken as paramedics attended to the injured parties, transporting them to a nearby hospital for further medical attention.

In the aftermath of the crash, traffic on the N11 experienced a substantial backlog, with trucks and cars queuing up for kilometres while emergency personnel diligently worked on clearing the scene.

As the investigation into the incident unfolds, authorities will be focusing on gathering more information to ascertain the factors that led to this unfortunate event.
