Two people hospitalised after car overturns on Albert Wessels Drive

In the early hours of Friday morning, 3 June 2022, Albert Wessels Drive, Newcastlemedics attended to a collision.

According to EMS, a motorist travelling along the high accident road lost control of their vehicle, resulting in the car flipping.

According to an official on the scene, while the exact cause of the accident is still to be established, it was speculated that speed played a key factor. “The incident took place just after the bend on Albert Wessels Drive and it seems as if the car rolled a few times,” the source added.

As a result, Spokesperson for KZN Private Ambulance, Craig Botha explained that two people sustained serious injuries. “The patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.”

Please, don’t speed, you are not prepared for the consequences, plus, petrol is too expensive.
