Two bullet-ridden bodies dumped in Osizweni, police searching for suspects

The bodies of two people riddled with bullets were discovered in Osizweni, Northern KwaZulu-Natal, on Wednesday night, 6 April 2022.

Spokesperson for the Osizweni SAPS, Captain Nicholus Sipho Nkosi, explains that the men’s bodies were discovered in a vacant stand. “One man had eight gun shot wounds, while the second man had sustained ten gunshot wounds to his body.”

The grisly discovery intensified after police noticed an unsettling detail on the scene. “There were no blood stains around the bodies on the ground, so it is possible that the men were gunned down elsewhere before the suspects dumped their bodies.”

Following the discovery of the deceased, Captain Nkosi states that the Osizweni police are now conducting investigations to establish when, where and why the two men were brutally killed.
