Have you seen 4-year-old Asimdumise Phungwayo?

A frantic search for a missing four-year-old child from Bergville is currently underway. His family is relying on the public and the South African Police Service (SAPS) to get him safely home.

KZN police spokesperson Captain Nqobile Gwala explains that the Bergville police need help to locate little Asimdumise Phungwayo.

“It is alleged that the toddler went missing on 3 October 2021 from his home, which is on the banks of the Woodstock Dam. Asimdumise is fair in complexion and has short hair.”

The Bergville SAPS have supplied a photograph, ensuring community members around the province can recognise the child if seen.
