Here is the icy weather forecasts for KZN and SA

Click those kettles and get on your jackets as a cold front is blowing through parts of KwaZulu-Natal and South Africa.

Senior Forecaster for South Africa Weather Service Vanetia Phakula explained there is a possibility of showers expected in the Eastern and Western Cape, extending into KZN as of Wednesday, 11 August 2021, continuing into Thursday and the upcoming weekend.

South African Weather Services claims a 30 to 60% chance of rain is expected from Thursday, 12 August 2021, and temperatures are expected to drop substantially.

Providing additional insight on the impending icy weather, AfriWX South African Weather Blog adds, “An intense cold front is expected to affect the Eastern Cape and in places over the Western Cape on Thursday, spreading to KwaZulu-Natal on Friday. The public and small stock farmers are advised that very cold, wet, and windy conditions can be expected with snow on the high-lying areas.”
