Golf enthusiasts are in for a treat, come February 10.

The Newcastle Chinese Golf Association will be hosting its Chinese New Year Charity Cup.

The event will take place at Newcastle Golf Club, with a shotgun start from 10.30am.

Playing format will be Betterball.

Entrance fee will be 180 per person.

This will be the second annual Chinese New Year Charity Cup, with a certain amount of the proceeds going to charity, with children homes earmarked as beneficiaries.
